Jake RUN!!!
New Moon midnight premiere in five hours, woot! Despite the terrible acting I can't help but go and see the movie, after all I am in love with the books. Side note: I love Taylor Lautner... but I am most definitely TEAM EDWARD! YEA!
So recently I have fallen into a deep vicious hole, you could call love, with two people (can you say playa). Mat Kearney and Josh Ocean. OMG I want to have polygamist marriage with the both of them. You probably know who Mat Kearney is, if not... do a google search. Josh Ocean is the lead singer for the band called TV/TV from New York. They are fantastic and amazing. One problem, Josh seems to be sort of.... short. Why are all the hot rockers short? That crushes my dreams of dating an awesome hardcore rocker dude... I wonder if there are any surgeries to make a person shorter??? hmmm...
Maybe not. Maybe I'll just pursue a life of love with a vampire... that is much more practical.
I'm going to go watch Vampire Diaries now :)
Check ya later ya'll

Tomorrow is Monday :(
"I gotta feeling, that tonight's gonna be a good night, that tonight's gonna be a good night, that tonight's gonna be a good good night..."
I've never heard that song MORE times in my life than I did today at my niece's poms competition. One question for whoever does the music for these squads, why do you use a song you know EVERYONE and I mean everyone, is going to use??? If your team is the twelfth one to use that song, everyone watching is annoyed that they are being forced to listen to it over and over again.
Ok that rant is over. Anyway, my niece's squad placed first in her group, and their routine was actually creative (The Little Mermaid was their theme) and didn't use "I gotta feeling," Imagine that :)
My weekend was very exciting... filled with LOTS of family time (I am using sarcasm). My sister was home from college for the weekend, so Saturday night we had to have a family dinner. Our house literally was a zoo, complete with my parents, my sister who was home, and my older sister's family (her husband and my two nieces), oh and not two mention my sister brought two little girls she was watching along. That may not seem that bad, but trust me it was.
Before this circus some people might call a family dinner, I went the large shoe size event at Nordstrom's Rack with my mommy and sister. I was very excited thinking I was going to find lots of cute shoes. NOT. This will be the millionth time I have said this: I HATE HAVING BIG FEET. It's so dang difficult to find cute shoes in my size. But I did find a pair of cute black boots for thirty bucks... not bad. So I am happy.
How was your weekend???
How was your weekend???
Side note: This weekend I watched "The Craft" which I had never seen before. It's from the nineties and has Neve Campbell in it, before she was well known. I liked it a lot, and definitely recommend it... It has lots of Wicca! woot
I'm now going to pass out and sleep very peacefully. I also plan on waking up early and walking my dog... let's see if that happens, goodnight y'all (eww I sound like Miley).

It's FRIDAY!
Hello all! Today was very exciting for me, I got paid from my oh so fun babysitting job at my town's local Jazzercise.... a whopping eighty dollars, yeah! Also I finally turned in my application to Columbia. Another thing... I learned that I really need to stop procrastinating, I think I might get a panic attack because I leave everything to the last minute... like everything. I pull all nighters like its my job, just ask my friends, they will vouch for me.
Ok so another very cool thing that happened. I was going through my closet and I stumbled upon this "Restroom" sign. Since this means nothing to most people reading this... let me inform you. Throughout high school I did theatre. Thats right I'm a drama nerd, whatevs, we are the coolest (and by cool I mean so different that no one understands us). I was always on costume and makeup crew. So I'm pretty sure it was my senior year during our fall show; Our last performance me and some other people decided to steal the restroom signs they put up in the halls for the audience. So coming across this seemingly insignificant "Restroom" sign, really brought back a lot of memories for me. Of course I got a little teary eyed (because I really am a huge baby) and nostalgic of those years, and then I snapped out of it and thought "I effing hated high school" :)
Anywho... tomorrow is November 7th. To me that means "Big Shoe Size event at Nordstrom's Rack" because if you don't know I am a beast with huge feet and find it EXTREMELY difficult to find shoes that fit me without them looking like old grandma shoes. OH and tomorrow is my friend's (from my old university) birthday. SO... HAPPY BIRTHDAY KLOOF!!!!! MWAHHH!
Oh and on a final note..... I LOVE Rihanna.... but her interview with Diane Sawyer was as much a publicity stunt as Chris Brown is a woman beater.... just saying. (That totally made sense in my head)
Peace out yo!

Ciao, Bonjour, Hello!
I have been interested in starting a blog for some time now, but I never really gave myself that push to start... So I guess it's now or never. I'll start by introducing myself. My name is Caitlyn Dobner and I live in a small suburb of Chicago. I am a sophomore in college and unfortunately I am going to school at my county's community college. A little background to how I got to where I am right now; Last year (my first year of college) I attended Miami University of Ohio. I didn't know what I wanted to do yet, so I think I went there because my older sister was there, so it was familiar. During my second semester, one of my close friends told me she was transferring. Her reasons got me thinking, and I realized I wasn't really happy at Miami, so I decided I wanted to transfer. Now where I wanted to transfer was another story. You see, I have always wanted to move from the midwest to California, so I figured why not just go to school there. Simple right? Not quite. I would consider my family middle class, however going to school so far from home would be very difficult for my parents, as far as traveling and moving all of my things back and forth. So I have decided, despite my fiery hatred for the cold of midwest winters, to attend Columbia College of Chicago.... right in the heart of those oh so cold winters. However I missed the transfer deadline, after all procrastination is one of my faults, so I was forced to attend my ever-so-crappy community college for the first semester of this year.
I guess that wasn't really a little background, but rather a lot of background. But now you know more of my wonderfully boring life! So if you care to know about my daily adventures, observations, or other miscellaneous things I care to comment on, then please read, comment or whatever. Or if you don't want to read.... don't :)
Wednesday will be over in approximately twenty minutes... or at least in my time zone. Tomorrow is a new day... and also a new episode of Vampire Diaries, woot!
That would be me.
